Fostering European Collaboration for Innovation in Educational Technology

The EdTech Talents project, funded under Horizon Europe, was presented at the 12th European Networking Event in Düsseldorf, Germany in March 2025, a key forum for strengthening partnerships in research and innovation across Europe.

Dr. Janika Leoste, Principal Investigator of EdTech Talents, delivered a presentation highlighting the project’s methodologies and contributions to the educational technology landscape. The session emphasized the project’s commitment to advancing innovation through structured knowledge services, accessible resources, and the dedicated Project Academy.

Following the presentation, project representatives Slavko Rakić, Sirly Väät, Merle Pajus, and Kristel Marmor from Tallinn University og Technology engaged in discussions with stakeholders from universities, companies, and NGOs. These conversations opened promising avenues for future collaboration in the context of Horizon Europe initiatives.

The European Networking Event brought together researchers and entrepreneurs from North Rhine-Westphalia and across Europe to explore project ideas aligned with Horizon Europe’s strategic objectives. With a total budget of approximately €95.5 billion available until 2027, the programme offers extensive opportunities for joint initiatives in research and innovation.

By participating in this event, EdTech Talents reaffirmed its dedication to building impactful partnerships and co-developing solutions that address the evolving needs of digital education. The project team welcomes future collaboration with institutions and organizations interested in contributing to the next generation of educational technology in Europe.
